Become Self-Sufficient-Without Govt Assistance

I was shopping yesterday when I noticed yet another homeless young man who was coughing and looked very ill! He appeared to be poor and in bad health. I watched as he walked down the sidewalk to the end of the shopping mall and held up his cardboard sign. I knew he was probably homeless.

In the past several months I had seen a large increase in beggers and homeless people in our county. I had talked with many poor or homeless people the past year to try and help them with work option! When I would tell them about potential direct-selling companies, a lot of them would reply "I don't have an email or they don't have the time!" That means they really didn't have the right mindset or want to take time to learn anything new! Or most of them probably couldn't mentally handle learning a new field and the time required to do so. It seemed easier for them to beg for money, work a traditional low-paying job or depend on the government. Everyone knows why it's hard to make ends meet these days, but I wondered why no one seemed to care about this young man. He looked like he was only 16 years old. A lot of the beggers seem to be very young, at least the people I've been talking to and have been trying to help!

I saw rich people with their fancy cars drive right by him without hesitation. It almost seemed as if he were invisible. I thought why doesn't anyone care? I didn't know the young man but I cared! Since I don't have a lot money right now, but I did want to help him.....I decided to see if I could find him some food at a cheap price. I did....and brought it to him! Best I could do for now.

In our current society I wonder why our country doesn't seem to really care about its citizens, especially the young people, elderly, handicapped or sick ones. Most insurance companies won't pay out for cancer surgeries or life-threatening health problems. The more I read, the more I learn why! The financial mechanisms in our country (QE, fiat money, the Fed, bailouts to big banks, etc.) are at the core of all our problems.

Since our government will never change unless we make them, other private individuals and companies have stepped up! Shows such as ABC's Home Makeover or private companies such as Starbuck's have started helping small business start-ups. If our country can't handle their own finances, you can't expect them to handle anyone else's!

My point is everyone needs to take care of themselves--or at least start learning to. That's what I've been trying to learn for the last several years now. I figure if I can learn about money, how to start a new business and the financial industry in general, I could pull myself out of debt! One of my financial mentors (Robert Kiyosaki) had mentioned years ago, the best way to learn about financial education is to learn about it yourself; don't depend on anyone to handle your money.....or should I say take it. Take the time you need, read a lot, take an online course or attend a seminar about investing or business opportunities. That's the best way--and only way to really know what's going on. The more I've read about our current financial crisis, the more I'm shocked to know the details. Mind-boggling. I now read on a regular basis, listening to as many webinars I can get my hands on, and learn new options to make money working from home. My goal? Work less and make more!!! I hate being someone's surf, being micro-managed, or helping someone else get rich. I would rather have my own business, make myself rich, and be able to live the lifestyle of my dreams! Don't get me wrong, I'm not greedy....but I know there is a better way to make a living, work part-time from home and make tons of money (not fiat money).

Currently I have found a few income opportunities online that I will be pursuing, and I've listed some of them on this blog! I would advice people to learn alternatives ways to make money other than the traditional jobs since they're being phased out! Take time to learn new ways, invest in yourself and your future, and find new paths to success. I think it's important to get the word to everyone--don't depend on our government to support you or bail you out! They only bail out TBTF banks. The more I read  the financial articles from experts, the more I realize that government assistance will soon be a thing of the past. The word is that they will be cutting social services, pensions, social security, medicaid, etc. Get prepared!!! There's already been a lot of financial turmoil, but people need to get ready for worse. Jobs are not coming back and  governmental assistance will die the way of the dinosaurs. I think now is the time to prepare yourselves and your families for alternative ways to make a living!

I will be writing follow-ups to this blog as ideas come to me, how I can help others, or alternative resources and ideas that people may be able to use! I think we should form our own private groups, help ourselves and others, and take our power back. The ideals of our country wasn't founded on governments having complete  control of everything in our lives, how we should live, how we should work, having low-paying jobs and poor lifestyles, taking all our money and hand it over to every big bank that fails. Not in the Declaration! I think we all need to go back to the drawing board........................write a new declaration maybe?
